Year 2 have been having a go at writing longer length stories. Here is the opening to Haillie’s story.
We were walking all around town I was tired.”Mum can we we sit down and have an ice pop?” I moaned.”NO” replied mum so we went around town again unti finally we stopped at a cafe .I sat down on an outside chairand mum got me some coke.I was BORED BORED BORED!I had enough of walking. Dum walking.! I was so anoyed .
It is hard to believe that this is the last week -It has been a long time coming! Anyway let me know what you are getting up to in the holidays, whether you are flying off to somewhere hot and sunny or staying here , (probably suffering from rising damp if this weather doesn’t dry up!!)
PS This is the beach I wish I was going to – not a child in sight!!!!!
Tomorrow year 2 are off to Skipton Castle. I am taking them there because I know there is a cosy, dark dungeon. I have every intention of leaving them in there, so the last couple of weeks of term should be very quiet!! For an extra fee parents, I will arrange for them to be left for the six week holiday!!
However it might mean that it is very quiet on the blog front……………but that is a small price to pay!!!!!!!!
In Bolton we have had worm weather and we had a drink In 1minut.It wafs great I had a great time.In the hot weather we had to find shaed.
That is promlem whith Summer you just carnt beet it.

Butlins
In the holiday’s I went to Butlins for the weekend and we did loads of stuff like football,swimming especially because it was massive the pool but their were about 20 different sections of it. There were 3 slides that made one ride and there was a blue,green(what was the best) and white. Their was another one that we didn’t have time to go on sadly but were going back not soon in the 6 week holiday’s and we will get a bigger and better than the last one. Apart from that it was great. Me and my mum,dad went into the arcades and first of all me and my mum went on air hockey I won,next it was me and my dad and he won. Next me and my dad went on this ride there were six places you could go on me and my dad went on the third one it was a mine it actually felt like you were ‘ridin’ it!
